CHOCOLATE COATED MENTHOL CANDY POSTED AT 04:46 PM For years I have been a witness to males purchasing the loveliest flowers available in the shop, romantic dinner dates, and exchanges of mushy text messages. Simultaneously, I see females giggling, blushing, and eating breakfast with drunken expressions. He offers to give her a ride home, carries her pink shoulder bag, and even opens the door for her. What a gentleman! No wonder she goes weak on the knees. He is so sweet! Or was... I hate to burst a bubble but must courtship be like this? To show your best foot forward? Of course, it is given that a male must impress the female in order to gain her favor. Birds do courtship dances while showing their vibrant plumage. Horned creatures show off their huge horns as a symbol of their virility. Thus it is just normal for humans to do the same things since we are still classified under the animal kingdom. But must it go too far that we are already trying to be someone we are not? To impress is one thing but to be another person is entirely different. You can impress someone by just being your own good self. Of course the bad temper must be tamed and put on chains but at least keep the real you. If she will fall in love, it should be with you and not with the individual you tried to weave from ideals. Besides, a red rose is still beautiful even with its thorns. 1 tried to answer!

THE WEDDING POSTED AT 01:23 PM "I don't believe that couples who have been married for more than five years still love each other. Love begins the moment you see the object of your affection, and it ends on your first night as husband and wife. The only reason why couples remain in their married state is because they treat marriage as a sacrament and they have a big responsibility to show their children what a family should be, always together. The society especially the Church put too much pressure on the importance of the unity of a family. But if things were to occur naturally, the man will find another woman as soon as they mate. That is how animals are programmed, and we, humans, are classified under this kingdom. Love is just a big prison. The ancient people defined love just to separate us from the lower forms of animals and to ensure that every family unit will always remain intact. But the truth is, love don't really exist." Yesterday, we received an invitation. She's getting married. Love sure is one big, awesome prison. |
